‘CHURCHFITTERS’ SENSATION!
The ‘Churchfitters’ provided a sensational evening of folk/rock music at the Memorial Hall on Sunday in yet another of the fabulous series of Villages In Action events, designed to bring affordable, high class entertainment to rural communities.

We were treated to some excellent fiddle playing, brilliant vocals and an inventive array of self-designed, stringed and percussion instruments from Boris – including his 12-string guitar/bouzouki made from two Mercedes Benz hub caps, and his ‘drum’ shoes!

IMPORTANT – MEMORIAL HALL CAR PARK DISRUPTION
The electricity supply to the hall has now been restored by Western Power Distribution, following a short-lived, recent problem.
However, there is a hole in the car park which will not be made good until Monday. It does not restrict access and only takes out a couple of spaces BUT great care is advised to hall users. Accordingly, it would help if you could ask anybody who will be attending events such as the ‘Churchfitters’ performance on Sunday 18th November to park at Holywell Stores. This will leave the Hall parking for the less able-bodied. The owners of Holywell Stores have kindly said that this arrangement is OK with them.
With apologies for any inconvenience!
