HOUSEHOLD LOCATION MAPS
As part of the Bigbury Coronavirus Support Group activities, maps have been prepared to show the location of all households within the parish, covering the areas of StAnn’s Chapel, Challaborough, Bigbury-on-Sea, Bigbury Village and northern parts of the parish (through Easton to Combe, etc.). These maps can be found in the DOCUMENTS section of the NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN group: >NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN>DOCUMENTS> CATEGORY>MAPS > select relevant file.
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN – FINAL ADOPTED VERSION
The final version of Bigbury’s Neighbourhood Plan, adopted by SHDC, is now available in the DOCUMENTS section of the NP Group, with or without Appendices. Go to NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN>DOCUMENTS>SELECT CATEGORY>FILE
The one change from the earlier version is the recommended amendment to the wording of the first housing objective at the top of page 10 where the reference to ‘village development boundaries’ should read ‘village settlement boundaries’. In all other parts of the Plan the wording ‘village settlement boundaries’ has been used.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN – REFERENDUM
THE DATE FOR THE REFERENDUM ON BIGBURY’S NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN HAS BEEN SET FOR THURSDAY 27TH FEBRUARY 2020.
If you value the opportunity to exercise greater control on development within our parish, please go along to the Memorial Hall, StAnn’s Chapel, and vote.
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN – IMPORTANT (includes Proposal Maps 1-3 at high resolution)
The version of the NP that will be the subject of a parish referendum, early in the New Year, is now available for scrutiny in the DOCUMENTS section of the NP area on this website. The referendum will be the final stage of the passage of the NP through the planning system.
Three proposal maps associated with the Plan are included here at higher resolution than in the Referendum document. Click on the maps and enlarge at will.
Having been passed (and lavishly praised) by the external Inspector, the NP already carries considerable weight for planning purposes and, of course, was prepared on behalf of Bigbury Parish Council.
