There will be a beach clean at Bigbury-on-Sea on Tuesday 16th August, 9.30 – 11.30am, organised by the Marine Conservation Society. For full details and to register, see the link below:-

Weve now set up a web page for our Beachwatch Beach Clean event at Bigbury on 16 August, so that people can register to come along and we have an idea of numbers. If youd be able to share it with your local contacts and potential volunteers, wed be very grateful. Here is a bit of blurb that you can use:
Tue 16 August 9.30am Beachwatch beach clean and survey at Bigbury Beach, South Hams with Davidoff Cool Water and the Marine Conservation Society
This summer, the Marine Conservation Society will be assisted by a team from Davidoff Cool Water, part of the global beauty brand Coty cosmetics, to clean up Bigbury beach. Well also be monitoring the litter to find out where it has come from!
This event is part of Cotys #lovetheocean campaign with National Geographic and will help the long-running MCS Beachwatch programme team to remove litter from the beach, and ultimately to target the main sources too. Were hoping to get 100-150 people down to help, including staff associated with the Davidoff Cool Water brand, MCS volunteers, local community members and the public.
if youd like to come and help clean up this popular summer beach for everyone to enjoy, and show how much local people #lovetheocean and our stunning UK coastline too, you can find out more about the event and also register to attend here

Best regards,
Jules.
